Behdad Esfahbod is an Iranian-Canadian Software Engineer prominently known for his work on Open Source projects. He was born in Sari, Iran, and has a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, and an MSc in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

He is interested in photography and documentary / narrative film-making exploring mental health and the human condition.
