Pedro Filipe Teixeira Caires Vasconcelos (born April 29, 2000) is a Portuguese writer, director and actor. After graduating from his Film course in Higher Education amidst the covid-19 lockdown, the young creative took a hiatus from his creative pursuits, taking a step back to truly understand how to pursue a fulfilling career in the arts.

Vasconcelos has written and directed a handful of independent projects in his young years as a portfolio booster such as “The Butterfly” and “CRIMSON” but it was not till 2025 that he began work on a new fully fledged project. “Eye of The Beholder” came to be, as a collaboration between Pedro and his brother Henrique Vasconcelos, when offered a grant for the creative endeavour. The short seems to be the most ambitious project the Director has developed thus far, promising to be a collaborative effort of filmmaking and test of his own capabilities.
