Jani Sellmann is a German filmmaker based in Munich. After several years working in the lighting department on film, television, and commercial productions, he began studying Cinematography at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF Munich) in 2025. His background in lighting informs his visual approach to image-making and storytelling. He is currently developing his career as a cinematographer, with a particular interest in visual narrative and cinematic lighting.
