What's left behind the scenes
- The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League was founded by chewing gum manufacturer William Wrigley Jr. (1894-1977), and athletes were recruited at Wrigley Field in Chicago. In the series, however, it is stated that the stadium is owned by a certain "Morris Baker," the owner of a chocolate bar factory. This is most likely a reference to Franklin Mars (1883-1934), the founder of the Mars company, which was acquired by the Wrigley company in 2008.
