What's left behind the scenes
- During pre-production, screenwriter Jack Carr gave Chris Pratt Anton Myrer's (1922-1996) novel 'Once An Eagle' (1968), which is set in the years between World War I and the Vietnam War, and focuses on the central theme of leadership and command.
- In the first operation scene, all the special forces soldiers are played by actual special operations veterans, with the exception of Chris Pratt and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
