What's left behind the scenes
- Alaqua Cox is the first actress with a disability to be cast in a leading role in a Marvel Studios project. Like the character in the original comics, she was born deaf, and she also uses a prosthetic leg.
- It was originally planned as a six-episode miniseries. However, in 2022, it was announced that due to budget and script issues, one episode would be cut, meaning the first season is now planned for five episodes.
