What's left behind the scenes
- Denise, played by Juliette Lewis, is a fictional character, though she bears some resemblance to Candace Mayeron, who worked with the Chippendales striptease group.
- The character Otis, played by Quentin Plaire, is based on the group's first African American dancer, Hodari Sabaru. Like Otis in the series, Sabaru was dismissed from the group following a dispute over a calendar and a fight with Steve Banerjee. Unlike the onscreen Otis, who simply shook Banerjee's hand and left, Sabaru struck Banerjee. He later formed his own African American dance troupe called the 'Lady Killers.'
