What's left behind the scenes
- Every episode features a shot of magpies. The number of birds corresponds to the episode number.
- Timothy Spall was initially intended for the role of Atticus, but he was busy with other projects, and the role was given to Tim Mcumellan.
- The stories written by the fictional author Alan Conway are largely inspired by the works of Agatha Christie, particularly her books featuring Hercule Poirot.
