What's left behind the scenes
- The face carved from stone is a sculpture located in Northwest England. The author is the Spanish artist, sculptor, designer, and engraver Jaume Plensa.
- Goldberg and Del Flynn (played by Jack Shallue and Ross Bottoman, respectively) do not end up as they do in the series. The reader of the novel understands that both are about to be arrested. Finally, Del Flynn shuts off the life support system of his first wife, Maria, the mother of Carlton, played by Connor Kelland.
