What's left behind the scenes
- The series is based on true events.
- To honor the memory of the victims, the film's title was changed from "The Barking Murders" to "Four Lives." Furthermore, the filmmakers decided that the previous title sounded like a typical police procedural drama.
- Filming began in 2019, but a hiatus was necessary due to four deaths and the manner in which the police handled them. This process was not completed until December 2021.
