What's left behind the scenes
- The canvas that Marie Antoinette (played by Emilia Schüle) sends to her mother actually depicts Yolande de Polignac (1749-1793, a friend of Marie Antoinette). The portrait was painted by Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun in 1782.
