Short description
After the death of his wife, world-class neurosurgeon Dr. Andrew Brown leaves Manhattan and moves his family to the small town of Everwood, Colorado. There he becomes a small-town doctor and learns parenting on the fly as he raises his talented but resentful 15-year-old son Ephram and his 9-year-old daughter Delia.

What's left behind the scenes
- Treat Williams is the only actor to appear in every single episode.
- Two different finales were filmed for the end of Season 4: one in case the series was renewed for a fifth season, and another if it wasn't. The second version had to be used. In the alternative ending, Madison returns to town and visits Ephram just as he is about to go to Amy. Madison was intended to appear in Season 5 if the show 'What About Brian,' starring actress Sarah Lancaster (who played Madison), was canceled after its first season, but it was renewed for a second.
