What's left behind the scenes
- A Jaguar E-Type sports car was specially assembled for the filming. After production ended, Rowan Atkinson bought it.
- Household appliances from the German company Miele are shown on screen. In Italian, 'miele' means 'honey'.
- The house interiors were built in studio pavilions, while the exterior shots of the house were computer-generated.
- Rowan Atkinson mentioned that he enjoyed working on the script, but disliked the filming process itself, which took place at the height of COVID-19 restrictions. To make matters worse, one of the crew members contracted COVID, forcing Atkinson to spend two weeks in quarantine.
