What's left behind the scenes
- William Hanna (1910-2001) wanted to make a family animated series, but he and Joseph Barbera (1911-2006) could not agree on the setting and costumes. Finally, Hanna exclaimed, 'Let's set it in the Stone Age! And no clothes, just animal skins!'
- Fred and Wilma Flintstone became the first animated married couple in the history of American television to be shown in bed.
