What's left behind the scenes
- Nina Dobrev auditioned for the role of Lux, but the studio preferred not to take her away from her role as Elena/Katherine in the television series 'The Vampire Diaries' (2009-2017).
- Initially, the pilot episode was titled 'Light Year,' then the title was changed to 'At the Parents' Discretion,' and finally to 'Life is Unpredictable'.
- The role of Cynthia, the mother of the character played by Ksenia Solo, is played by her real-life mother.
