What's left behind the scenes
- In preparation for filming, Sam Song Lee studied the art of improvisation with The Groundlings, an American improv comedy troupe that offers sketching classes.
- In the second episode, while Charles (played by Justin Chon) is talking to his mother about gangsters who have already been killed, he mentions in passing that one was named Sammo and the other Hong. Sammo Hung is a well-known Hong Kong actor, director, and producer who is also famous in the US. He has starred in numerous projects with Michelle Yeoh, whose character Charles is speaking with.
