What's left behind the scenes
- The pregnancy of the character Tina Kennard was filmed during a period when the actress playing her, Laurel Holloman, was actually expecting a child.
- The actresses playing the roles of Phyllis and Molly are mother and daughter in real life.
- Ossie Davis (1917-2005) played the father of the character portrayed by Jennifer Bills. In the second season of the series, Davis's character fell ill and died. All of these scenes had been filmed. Davis himself passed away before the episode featuring his character's death aired. The creators of the series dedicated this episode to the actor's memory.
- Jennifer Bills was pregnant during the filming of the third season.
