What's left behind the scenes
- The Danish title of the series, 'Borgen', is a nickname for Christiansborg, the castle that houses the parliament (Folketing) and the Prime Minister's office.
- The fictional media outlets depicted in the series are based on real-life prototypes: the public infotainment channel DR1, the daily newspaper Ekstra Bladet, and the television station TV 2.
