What's left behind the scenes
- Artur Barkish—also an episodic character—appears in the following sequence of incarnations: a man sitting on the shore of a lake, a laboratory assistant, a diesel mechanic, a kayaker, a laborer, a man with a suitcase, a man at a railway station, a student, and a cyclist.
- Artur Barchish: "I received the scripts for all the episodes and read them with bated breath. I read through the night, alternating with my wife in the morning; then I called Krzysztof and asked him, 'Who are these people I'm playing?'" Krzysztof replied: "I don't know."
