Short description

- The series premiere on March 18, 2005, drew an audience of 4 million viewers, making it the most successful TV series on the Disney Channel in 2005.
- Four actors appear in each of the series' 87 main episodes. In addition to the twins Cole and Dylan (Zack and Cody), they are Kim Rhodes (their mother) and Phill Lewis (the hotel manager, Mr. Moseby). Brenda Song (London Tipton) appears in 85 episodes, and Ashley Tisdale (Maddie) in 75.
- The character of London Tipton, the spoiled and weak-willed daughter of the hotel owner, is an obvious parody of Paris Hilton.
- Ashley Tisdale auditioned for both the roles of London and Maddie.
- Zack and Cody live in room 2350, and London lives in room 2500.
- Maddie's full name is Madeline Margaret Genevieve Joanna Miranda Katerina Fitzpatrick.
- In the original script, Maddie's name was Lena.
