Short description
A live-action workplace comedy about Gary, an associate demon, as he attempts to capture souls on earth in order to climb the corporate ladder of the underworld. Gary hopes to advance in Hell, but he may be too stupid, lazy and kind-hearted to realize his dreams of promotion. Meanwhile, Gary's intern Claude is more talented, more devious and will do whatever it takes to impress Satan.

What's left behind the scenes
- The eco-terrorist Ted is based on Ted Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber (an American mathematician, social critic, philosopher, and terrorist known for his mail bombing campaign).
- In the third season, viewers learn Satan's name is Darren Farley. This first occurs in the second episode, after which the same name appears on screen in the fourth episode. In the eighth episode, Henry Żebrowski's character discovers that Satan's name is not Darren at all.
- According to one of the actors, Henry Zebrowski, at the start of production, the makeup process took an hour and a half, but the procedure later became twice as fast. Removing the makeup was also difficult and required the use of 100% alcohol, which was harsh on the skin.
- Matt Servitto, who played Satan, wore heels over 20 cm high as part of his role.
