What's left behind the scenes
- Neil Patrick Harris performed all of his own stunts on screen.
- Filming for the movie took 6 days.
- A real house, which had previously served as a set for the TV series 'Monster House' (2003), was used as Doctor Dreadful's lair. It was simply modified to resemble a mad scientist's laboratory (with various flasks, vials, etc., placed inside). Doctor Dreadful's oversized chair was borrowed from the homeowners' living room.
