What's left behind the scenes
- Molly Douse (played by Lacey Turner) was awarded the Military Cross. In the UK, this is the third-highest award for bravery in the field under enemy fire; it is surpassed only by the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross and the Victoria Cross.
- The medal awarded to Molly Dawes and her fellow service members is the General Service Medal (Afghanistan), which was issued to all British citizens who served in that country.
