What's left behind the scenes
- Bradley Cooper, reprising his role as Ben from the 2001 comedy, filmed all of his scenes in a single day. Initially, Cooper was unable to fly to Los Angeles due to his commitments in a Broadway production. The show's creators decided to film his parts in New York, but it later emerged that Cooper had been nominated for an Oscar and would have to travel to California. Therefore, it was decided to film all of his scenes in one shooting day.
- The character named Mitch is a parody of Mitch Reiter, the camp director where David Wayne filmed the 2001 comedy 'American Hot Summer'.
