What's left behind the scenes
- As in the film of the same name (2011), Bradley Cooper plays the role of Senator Edward Moore.
- Neil Burger, director of the thriller Limitless (2011), was supposed to direct the pilot episode, but stepped down to film the drama series Billions (2016). Marc Webb directed the pilot instead.
- Bradley Cooper and Jake McDorman starred together in Clint Eastwood's historical drama American Sniper (2014). After becoming an executive producer of the Limitless television series, Cooper recommended McDorman for the lead role.
- The Limitless television series is a more expanded version of the 2011 film of the same name.
- Jake McDorman and Aley Tipton (who played Brian and his ex-girlfriend Shauna) previously starred together in the short-lived ABC series Manhattan Love Story (September–December 2014).
- Bradley Cooper and Ron Rifkin starred together in the television series Alias (2001–2006).
- Brian Finch was born on April 25, 1987.
- As soon as Brian Finch, played by Jake McDorman, takes the NZT pills, the image on the TV screen takes on a yellowish tint.
- In the first episode, Jake McDorman plays a Gibson guitar.
- In the series Dexter (or Dexter's Justice, 2006-2013), Jennifer Carpenter and Desmond Harrington also played cops in a romantic relationship.
- In the 4th episode of the first season at the 16-minute mark, after a search, it is mentioned that they found data stored on a hard drive; at that moment, Agent Spillman Boyle pulls a computer power supply unit out of the bag instead of a hard drive.
