What's left behind the scenes
- Mary Goodwin, played by Dilshad Vadsaria, was named after Mary Shelley (1797–1851), born Mary Godwin, the author of the Gothic novel "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus" (1818).
- During development, the project was titled "Frankenstein." Once the project became the property of Fox, the title was changed to "The Frankenstein Code." In August 2015, it was announced that the official title of the series was "Mirror," and it was subsequently released as "Second Chance." The project's ratings were unsatisfactory, and the series was canceled after the first season.
