What's left behind the scenes
- The film is based on the second part of Anatoly Azolsky's novel 'The Saboteur'.
- In the first episode of the series, while shaving, Kolyazin speaks with Friedrich; in one shot he has shaving foam residue on his face, while in the next he does not.
- Storming the weather station: a sign reads 'USSR. Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia.' There were no ministries back then. And even later, only the Ministry of Defense of the USSR existed, not that of a union republic or, especially, an autonomous one.
- The 'Berlin' scenes were filmed in the Polish city of Wrocław.
- At the beginning of the first episode, Rigel is referred to as a captain, and then several times as a lieutenant.
- The first episode takes place in the spring of 1943, and Lieutenant Colonel Kostenetsky is wearing the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky on his chest; he could not have been awarded this order because it was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on October 10, 1943.
