Short description
Gritty, intense, evocative and emotional, "Over There" takes you to the front lines of battle and explores the effects of war on a U.S. Army unit sent to Iraq on their first tour of duty, as well as the equally powerful effects felt at home by their families and loved ones.

What's left behind the scenes
- The series takes its name from the patriotic song "Over There," which was popular among soldiers during World War I.
- Josh Henderson's stunt double in the amputation and prosthetic scenes was his cousin, Clint Mabry, who lost a leg in a car accident in 2001.
