What's left behind the scenes
- The SyFy channel set up a hotline where viewers could call and complain about things they didn't like in the series. The answering machine on the line spoke in the voice of Slink, performed by Colin Cunningham. The hotline number was (325) 400-3423.
- To avoid censorship issues, the series creators covered nudity in the frame with black inserts, and the placement of these inserts was more creative than usual.
