What's left behind the scenes
- In Stephen King's 2018 novel of the same name, Holly Gibney is white (the novel served as the literary basis for the plot, and King himself became one of the screenwriters). However, director and producer Jason Bateman strongly wanted to work on a project with Black actress Cynthia Erivo, and the role was given to her.
