What's left behind the scenes
- At one point, it was assumed that 'Gangs of London' would be an adaptation of the 2006 PSP game of the same name. This game is considered a sequel to the Getaway franchise, which released titles in 2002 and 2004. One of the series' directors and writers, Gareth Evans, had long been considering a project that examined the process of filling a power vacuum. For a while, he thought this project would be set in Indonesia.
