What's left behind the scenes
- Screenwriter Paru Itagaki named the wolf, voiced by Chikahiro Kobayashi, Legoshi in honor of actor Bela Lugosi, and incorporated features of actors Mathieu Amalric and Kenichi Matsuyama into his appearance.
- Paru Itagaki drew Legoshi back in school, but the development of the character as such and the entire concept of "Beastars" took years.
- Judging by the student ID, the character voiced by Sayumi Watabe is supposed to be an alpaca, but in reality, it is an Angora goat.
