What's left behind the scenes
- Alex's full name during the mission in "Point Blank" (as shown in the final scene of the second episode) is Alexander Boris de Pfeffel-Johnson. This is the same name held by the former Mayor of London and former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, known as Boris Johnson.
- The script for the first season is based on the novel "Point Blanc" (also known as "White Peak" or "Point of Departure", 2001), which in turn is the second book in the series. Initially, Anthony Horowitz wanted to make this novel the first book in the series, but he changed his mind, and the series began with the novel "Thunderhead" (2000).
