Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, is all set to host auditions for its first-ever Social Media Heroes. The auditions, which will be held in the city’s prominent venues, will be open to all individuals who are passionate about making a difference through the power of social media.

The Social Media Heroes initiative is a unique concept that has been launched by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to recognize and reward individuals who are actively engaged in promoting social causes through the medium of social media. The initiative is aimed at encouraging citizens to use their social media accounts to spread awareness about social issues and to create a positive impact in the society.

The auditions will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, the participants will be required to submit a short video or an audio clip that showcases their social media skills. The video or audio clip should be no longer than two minutes and should focus on the social cause that the participant is passionate about. The participants will also be required to submit a written statement of their motivation for participating in the initiative.

In the second phase, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for a face-to-face interview with the AMC officials. During the interview, the participants will be asked to explain their vision for using social media to create a positive impact in the society. The AMC officials will also assess the participants’ knowledge and understanding of social media and its potential to create a positive impact.

The AMC will select the top three participants who will be declared as the Social Media Heroes of Ahmedabad. These individuals will be given a special recognition and will be given the opportunity to work with the AMC to promote social causes through the medium of social media.

The auditions for the Social Media Heroes of Ahmedabad will be held on the 15th of August, 2019. All interested individuals are encouraged to participate in the auditions and make their mark in the city’s social media landscape.
