Set in Lebanon starting in 2018, this documentary explores the struggle to rebuild a nation fractured by corruption and a violent history. The story follows three individuals—Georges, Joumana, and Perla Joe—as they navigate different paths toward change. While Joumana attempts to enter politics through legislative elections and Perla Joe becomes a voice for revolution, Georges serves as a witness to a previous era of conflict. Together, their experiences illustrate the conflict between an older generation clinging to the past and younger citizens fighting for a new future.
The film was written and directed by Myriam El Hajj. It features Joumana Haddad, Georges Moufarej, and Perla Joe Maalouli appearing as themselves. This production was a collaboration between companies from Qatar, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and France, including CNC, Abbout Productions, and Gogogo Films. Released on October 15, 2025, the documentary has a total runtime of 110 minutes.
