Meanwhile on Earth

Meanwhile on Earth is a science fiction drama about the bond between a woman and her older brother, an astronaut who vanished during a space mission three years prior. Elsa, now twenty-three, struggles to move forward with her life while grieving his mysterious disappearance. Her situation changes when an unknown extraterrestrial entity contacts her, claiming it can return her brother to Earth in exchange for a specific cost.

Directed and written by Jérémy Clapin, this production followed his 2019 film I Lost My Body. The Belgian and French co-production features Megan Northam in the lead role of Elsa, with voice performances by Dimitri Doré and Sébastien Pouderoux. The supporting cast includes Catherine Salée, Sam Louwyck, and Roman Williams.
