White Paradise

A widower named Samuel retreats to a chalet in the Italian Alps to find solitude while caring for his young daughter. His isolation is interrupted when he meets Chehreh, a woman from Afghanistan attempting to reach the French border. Despite the risks and the hostility of local residents who assist authorities in hunting migrants, Samuel decides to help her. The two must navigate a harsh mountain environment while being pursued by a violent group of men.

Directed by Guillaume Renusson, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Clément Peny, this French production is a blend of action, drama, and thriller.
