Old Fox

This family drama takes place during the late 1980s. It follows an eleven-year-old boy who develops a friendship with his landlord, a man known as Old Fox. Through this relationship, the boy gains knowledge about navigating a shifting world and learns lessons that his impoverished father is unable to provide.

The film was directed by Hsiao Ya-chuan, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Adrienne Iwen Chan. The production was a joint effort between Taiwan and Japan, produced by BIT Production. The main cast features Bai Run-yin, Kuan-Ting Liu, Akio Chen, Eugenie Liu, Mugi Kadowaki, and Jag Huang Chien-Wei, with a total of 20 credited actors.
