Short description

Po is gearing up to become the spiritual leader of his Valley of Peace, but also needs someone to take his place as Dragon Warrior. As such, he will train a new kung fu practitioner for the spot and will encounter a villain called the Chameleon who conjures villains from the past.

What's left behind the scenes

According to director Stephanie Stine, the initial plan was to create a project that combined elements of live-action and animation – similar to Robert Zemeckis's "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988) and Joe Pytka's "Space Jam" (1996), but this idea was later abandoned.
The first film in the franchise where Po refers to himself as "Kung Fu Panda".
