Detective Ma Seok-do turns his attention to an illegal online gambling operation that stretches between South Korea and the Philippines. A Korean programmer is found dead abroad after being held captive, and the investigation links his death to a criminal network running unlicensed betting sites. At its head stands Baek Chang-gi, a former elite soldier who controls the Korean market through kidnapping, assault and murder, while his partner Chang Dong-cheol, an IT specialist based in Seoul, prepares a larger scheme. To break the organisation, Ma widens his operation and proposes an unusual alliance.
The film is the fourth entry in the South Korean action franchise that began with The Outlaws, and it follows The Roundup: No Way Out. It is directed by Heo Myeong-haeng, whose other directing credit, Badland Hunters, was released the same year, from a screenplay by Oh Sang-ho. Ma Dong-seok again plays Ma Seok-do, with Kim Moo-yul as Baek Chang-gi, Park Ji-hwan as Jang I-soo and Lee Dong-hwi as Chang Dong-cheol. The production credits 43 cast members and 47 crew members.
Released in April 2024, the film took about 84 million dollars worldwide, a strong result for a Korean production. On TMDB it holds a rating of 7.3 out of 10 from roughly 270 votes, indicating a generally favourable audience response.
