Hail to Hell

Two school outcasts, Na-mi and Sun-woo, form a suicide pact to avoid a class trip. Just as they are about to act, they learn that Chae-lin, the girl who bullied them, is living a happy life in Seoul. The two decide to delay their plans and travel to the city to seek revenge. Upon finding Chae-lin, they discover she has joined a religious group and claims to be repentant for her past actions. This change in her personality complicates their goal and leads them to question the nature of the institution where she stays.

The drama was directed by Lim Oh-jeong, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jung Grim. Produced by the Korean Academy of Film Arts, the film features Oh Woo-ri, Bang Hyo-rin, and Jung Yi-ju in the lead roles, with supporting performances by Park Sung-hoon, Lee Sun-hee, and Lee Ju-won. Since its release in August 2023, the movie has received a moderate reception from viewers, holding a rating of 6.1/10 on IMDb based on 196 votes.
