Adagio

Set in a modern Rome plagued by violence and corruption, the story follows sixteen-year-old Manuel, who cares for his ailing father, a former gangster. Manuel becomes the target of blackmail by corrupt police officers who force him to photograph a mysterious person at a party. After realizing he has been deceived, the teenager attempts to flee, but he is relentlessly pursued by the dangerous men who now view him as a liability. To survive, Manuel seeks protection from his father's old criminal associates.

The film was directed by Stefano Sollima, who also co-wrote the screenplay and served as a producer. This project follows his previous work on A.C.A.B. - All Cops Are Bastards, Suburra, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, and Tom Clancy's Without Remorse. The ensemble cast features Pierfrancesco Favino, Toni Servillo, Valerio Mastandrea, Adriano Giannini, Gianmarco Franchini, and Francesco Di Leva.
