Two FBI agents, Doug Bennett and Steve Forest, are sent to Miami to reopen a case that has gone unsolved for years. A Detroit bank was robbed of $20 million in 1978; of the three men responsible, one was killed, one went to prison and one vanished with the money. When the jailed robber is released and travels to Miami, he is murdered soon afterwards. Posing as local police officers, Bennett and Forest try to track down the missing man and the stolen cash before anyone else does.
The film is a 1985 action comedy directed by Bruno Corbucci, his sixth feature in the chronological list that begins with Spia spione in 1967 and continues through The Swindle, Messalina, Messalina!, Thieves and Robbers and The Devil and Holy Water. Corbucci wrote the screenplay with Luciano Vincenzoni, and Josi W. Konski produced. Terence Hill and Bud Spencer star as the two agents, playing characters with cover identities, alongside C.B. Seay, William 'Bo' Jim, Ken Ceresne and Jackie Castellano among a credited cast of 25. It was made in Italy and the United States and runs 96 minutes.
On IMDb the film holds a rating of 6.1/10 from around 9,100 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.4/10 from roughly 489 votes. The two scores are close, suggesting a modest but fairly consistent response from viewers.
