Detective Knight: Redemption

Detective James Knight, a Los Angeles police detective, is in custody in New York after intervening in a crime without his superiors' authorization. When a jailbreak erupts, it is masterminded by a fanatic known as The Christmas Bomber, whose followers in Santa Claus costumes spread terror through the city. Offered his badge back in return for stopping the terrorists, Knight finds himself in a position to deal out justice on his own terms.

The film is directed by Edward Drake, who also wrote the screenplay, with Sean Patrick O'Reilly and Randall Emmett producing. It is the second entry in the Detective Knight series, following Detective Knight: Rogue from earlier the same year and preceding Detective Knight: Independence the following year, and it sits among a run of action films Drake made in the early 2020s. Bruce Willis leads the cast as Knight, alongside Lochlyn Munro, Beau Mirchoff, Corey Large, John Cassini and Miranda Edwards.

Released in December 2022, the film runs 93 minutes. It received a critics' rating of 4.8/10 from six reviews, while audiences rated it 4.1/10 on IMDb from around 2,100 votes and 5.3/10 on TMDB from a much smaller pool of 93 votes, with the two audience scores pointing in somewhat different directions.
