Old Enough

Old Enough is a drama about the friendship between two young girls from very different social backgrounds. Lonnie is a well-behaved twelve-year-old who meets the bold and rebellious Karen. As they spend time together, Karen introduces Lonnie to a world of skipping school, shoplifting, and using makeup, while Lonnie influences Karen to be more honest. Their bond is tested when the arrival of an older woman creates tension between the girls and Karen's brother, Johnny.

The film was written and directed by Marisa Silver, marking the start of a directorial career that later included Vital Signs in 1990. The cast features Sarah Boyd as Lonnie and Rainbow Harvest as Karen, with Neill Barry, Alyssa Milano, Danny Aiello, and Susan Kingsley also appearing in the production.
