Nowhere to Run

Escaped convict Sam Gillen goes on the run after a prison transport breakout, hiding out near a remote farm where Clydie Anderson lives with her two young children. A corrupt land developer and his hired men are pressuring her to give up the property, and Sam steps in to protect the family, putting his freedom at risk.

Robert Harmon directed the film, which followed his 1986 debut The Hitcher and was released in January 1993. Jean-Claude Van Damme plays Sam, with Rosanna Arquette as Clydie; Kieran Culkin and Tiffany Taubman play her children, and Ted Levine appears among the cast, which numbers 25 credited performers supported by 78 credited crew. Joe Eszterhas, Randy Feldman and Leslie Bohem wrote the screenplay, and Gary Adelson and Craig Baumgarten produced for Columbia Pictures.
