Dangerous Encounters of the First Kind

Three teenagers commit a crime and are spotted by a young girl named Pearl. Using what she witnessed, Pearl begins to blackmail the group, manipulating them into committing increasingly daring and destructive acts.

Directed by Tsui Hark, this was the first of 31 films he directed, preceding Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain. The screenplay was written by Hark along with Sze-To Cheuk-Hon and Chen Fang, and the film was produced by Thomas Fung Wing-Fat for Fotocine Film Production Limited.
