Short description
On New Year's Eve, a respected notary named Jérôme Martinaud arrives at a police station to answer questions regarding the discovery of two murdered young girls. What begins as a routine interview with Inspector Antoine Gallien and his assistant, Marcel Belmont, evolves into a rigorous interrogation. As the session progresses, Martinaud becomes entangled in his own contradictions, and the police grow convinced of his involvement. The situation shifts further when the notary's wife, Chantal, provides testimony that challenges his innocence.
