Twiggy

Twiggy is a documentary that examines the life and career of Lesley Lawson, the British model known as Twiggy. The film explores her rise to prominence during the 1960s and how her specific look influenced beauty standards and the fashion industry. It features first-hand accounts from Twiggy and her husband, Leigh Lawson, alongside perspectives from other figures such as Paul McCartney, Lulu, Brooke Shields, Zandra Rhodes, Pattie Boyd, Erin O’Connor, and Poppy Delavigne.

The film was directed and produced by Sadie Frost, who also served as a producer alongside Nick Hamson. Produced in the United Kingdom by the BBC, Soho Talent, Reel Time, and Film Soho, the project features a cast of 30 people. In addition to the primary interviews, the production includes archival footage of Justin de Villeneuve and Michael Witney, as well as appearances by Joanna Lumley and Carly Wiggins. The final runtime of the documentary is 90 minutes.
