Set in the rural region of Andhra Pradesh during the 1980s, this drama follows a spirited man named Peddi who possesses exceptional athletic ability. In a village that lacks official recognition, Peddi uses his sporting talents to unite his community and fight for their dignity and right to exist against a powerful opponent. The narrative is framed by a sports ministry official who travels through difficult terrain to uncover the story of the athlete and the youth he inspired.
The film was directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Vara Prakash Toleti and Krushna Hari.
